1996 Sportsman 500 Non HO Direct replacement, exact fit. No modifications required, works like new. Came in a box with new gasket, brass fittings and screws.

Absolute scrap! I've been playing around with this carb trying to get it not to flood my engine. I finally restored my old one and it works great now. I wouldn't waste your time buying this!

This was the third carburetor I have ordered for this quad. The first 2 came from different sources and I was never able to get them to work. The carb I got from here worked right out of the box. I just had to make a few small adjustments. The float stand and lead screw required minor adjustments to meet specifications. The quad did a great job there.

installed and ran it ran very fast and very rich carb removed and float adjusted and jet needle readjusted the other way around rich and wouldn't even idle disconnected throttle cable still plenty fast and rich finally gave up not knowing what was wrong with it, cleaned and overhauled my old carburetor and using this new one was a waste of money for me.

Low idle and performance issues. Seems to be rich. Checked the innards, everything seems to be tight, looked for adjustments, found a hard-to-reach screw on the outside of the carburetor. I should have spent more on a better quality replacement, driven it for the week and see if it changes anything installed on a 1999 Sport 500.
