High-Quality Carburetor with Air Oil Filter for Yamaha Timberwolf YFB250 Carb 1992-2000 Review

Put this on a 1996 Yamaha Timberwolf 250. With the old carbureted engine it barely worked at idle. At the same time, it works well, but does not gain momentum. Either he stands and dies, or he just doesn't get up. Fuel will also leak through the bottom if the valve is left open.

My 20 year old son installed this on our ATV. Solved our problems and installed with no problems. Only time will tell how long term the value is and we don't use the quad much so it will take some time to know for sure but so far so good.

Arrived on time. Easy to install as it was accurate. The car started immediately, it remains only to adjust the idle. Was cheaper than a stock carburetor replacement plus air, oil and fuel filters and fuel lines. Also the fuel shut off valve was replaced which was leaking and the filter on the valve was dirty. All for $33.

I was skeptical at first as some reviews were negative. Well for $25 I took a chance and couldn't be happier. Installed in less than 30 minutes and started immediately. All I had to do was let it warm up to operating temperature and once I removed the choke, adjusted the air/idle screw just a tiny bit and it runs and idles perfectly. The air/idle screw was slightly different but works the same. Only without feather. highlighted. A+

Bought 2 of these at the same time. They were sent from 2 different locations. The first came and installed perfectly, worked perfectly. The second took over a week to arrive and although it looked the same, there was a problem once it was installed and ready to be hooked up to the fuel line. The pin was much smaller than the other and didn't fit the fuel line. I ordered a replacement but it turned out to be the same as the second one. So now we need to figure out how to clamp the fuel line…

My old Timberwolf, 8-10 years old, was lying abandoned at the edge of the forest in our "garbage dump". Flushed the fuel tank, bought this kit along with a new faucet that came with the line and filter. Set it up, hooked up the connection cables and immediately caught fire as if it had just been switched off yesterday.
