Sturdy Cotton Cargo Belts with 👖 Brass Buckle - Essential Men's Military Accessories Review

I have several woven belts of this type. Thomas Bates' model is made of a stronger fabric and is slightly wider than my others. I haven't had it long but I have a feeling it will be long lasting. Looks good and the buckle doesn't slip like some others. I will definitely buy this brand again!

Better than military grade. Good heavy webbing and transparent protective film on the buckle to prevent scratches. Nice and long and you can adjust it at the buckle so you don't have to reattach the end plate if you cut it.

Thought a $10 US made brass buckle belt would be a good item at a good price. But the buckle isn't brass, it's brass. and the coating started peeling off the buckle the first time I put it on. The back of the buckle is almost entirely covered in silver, and the wear line between the plating and the base metal slides toward the face along the edges of the buckle. Dishonest listing. Very disappointed.

I wanted a cheap belt that was more casual than leather. This web belt and brass buckle are just right. My waist is about 34 inches and the belt is too long so I trim it by undoing the buckle and cutting the end without the metal tab. Then reattach the buckle to the end you just cut. You don't want to cut off the metal tongue end!

Beautiful, durable and beautiful military style braided belt, made from quality materials and in a standard adult width. The hardware works as expected. This is my second Thomas Bates belt that I have bought this year. Like the first, it is of the highest quality. I'm baffled by the negative reviews I'm seeing posted by some others and can't figure out the basis for this. I would highly recommend these belts and have absolutely no connection with this seller other than as a satisfied customer.

I generally like the belt. The strap thickness is 0.1 inch / 2.5 mm. The only criticism is the quality of the buckle. The thickness of the steel used is .034 inches and appears to be from the manufacturer. Stamped brass plated stock made from sheet metal stock which is then bent/formed as the edges are unplated. I suspect they must be painted to protect the steel from rusting. In this case you cannot polish the brass. I don't think steel is stainless because it's magnetic. The manufacturer…

Aside from the fact that I bought this belt because my others didn't fit anymore, this belt exceeded my expectations. Not only is it made from durable materials, it easily and instantly adjusts to how tight (or loose) I want the belt to be at the time of my choice of pants, PLUS it brought back totally fond memories of the belt I inherited got (and has since lost) from my father over 40 years ago. top price. Nicely made clasp. Durable cotton fabric. Generally very nicely done. Unfortunately, the brass tip on the belt wasn't fully pressed into the cotton band. It freezes when you try to unbuckle your belt - it doesn't look like it's anything serious until you REALLY need to use the bathroom. The product is not worth enough to justify a return.

The belt is exactly what I was hoping for. However, the buckle is constantly weakening and fell off completely three times. I'm not sure if the "prongs" holding the buckle in place aren't long enough or if there is an issue with the compression when the prongs close on the belt. Is there a solution to fix this problem?
