Love durable materials and Carhartt quality. However the buttons didn't want to connect with the buttons on the jacket, I ordered both on the same day. We could only connect one. Four more just wouldn't go together. I'll sew it onto the jacket, but it's not necessary. Everything else on the hood is great. It fits well, protects and keeps me warm. I am sure that I will benefit from it for many years to come.

Issue with fasteners that attach to jacket collar. The latter was immediately sent back for exchange because. 3/4 of the snaps didn't connect properly. When I got the new one I thought there were no flaws, after checking I found that one of the latches was disconnected when I actually used it. AFTER I WAS OUTSIDE THE RETURNS WINDOW. upset. I know it's not a compatibility issue as the other jacket's product had no issues connecting to this jacket.

Same 12oz canvas as my Arctic Traditional jacket, four (4) buttons fit perfectly on collar, Carhartt item # In the picture the hood is very large but better big than small, room for a layer with a hoodie, solidly built by Carhartt and takes time to break in, very happy with the purchase, excellent value for money.

Gift for the turn of the year. My friend was looking for a spare hat to attach to his old jacket. Well photographed. The material was a bit stiff but after washing it softened. He says he likes it and says it's "good and warm." It was difficult before washing as it sagged to the bottom and was quite high overhead, but a wash with fabric softener fixed that. Overall he is satisfied and I would recommend this hat.
