Carhart quality? Absence.

Carhartt appears to be the leader in quality workwear selection. Not at all my experience with this product. This henley is said to be breathable, waterproof, durable, etc. Took it on a hike and found it's none of that. Too hot and difficult to breathe. Where the backpack straps met the fabric, they seemed to wash out the color. The tail is even too long, and, well, needless to say more. You should return to the drawing board on this.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Questionable Purchase for Seniors

Great shirt: Henleys

I love these Carhartt Force shirts. I sweat a lot and they dry out comparatively quickly. I like 3 buttons. I have a Port-A-Cath on the top of my chest and with 3 buttons, I can unbutton the buttons and pull my shirt on to access it without taking my shirt off.

  • Best in Niche

Force Line is their best

Very comfortable, dries quickly and fits like a glove after several washes. The more you wash and wear it, the more comfortable it becomes. I say in a year. Also cleans very easily. Stains you think are constantly being washed away. Also a slimmer fit than your regular cotton/poly blend henley. Just a superb Henley.

I like the shirt but if you are familiar with Carhartt clothing...

I like the shirt but if you are familiar with Carhartt clothing you would expect something roomier, while this one is a bit tight. For casual wear, order a Carhartt shirt one size larger than normal and you'll be fine. For training use, the fit is likely to be sweat-wicking, which makes it very good.

Pros
  • It's fun
Cons
  • Could have been a newer model

Like the shirt but slightly smaller than other Carhartt shirts

I like the shirt but slightly smaller than other Carhartt shirts. You can order one size larger. Personally I prefer their other short sleeve Henley shirt because it uses a more durable and heavier fabric.

Pros
  • Nice item
Cons
  • No shape required

New material. Too small. Several tries. All are small.

holy cow, they are small. I've owned over 25 different Carhartt pieces, from jackets to short and long sleeves. I saw this new material and decided to try it. One came and was ridiculously small. So I thought it was a bad cut. I have ordered 2 more colors in different styles with this new material. All 3 are small. Like "Oops, we just screwed up." small. I'm fluctuating between 2xt and 3xt. I have the 3xt so it hangs loose and fits XLT straps.

"Forced " to leave Carhartt

I'm a tall guy, not fat, but I'm not a short guy or a teenager either. I have worn Carhartt workwear for about 40 years and have always been satisfied. However, everything has changed! Its size and material are a big disappointment. The length of the shirt is very short, it doesn't allow you to bend over or sit down without lifting the shirt. The material and cut have become thinner, but the quality is declining! The new Carhartt Force shirts are cut too low at the neck and too high at the…

New, cheaper and thinner material. Also, they are too small.

Very disappointed with this shirt. I've worn Carhartt Henly for many years. I recently lost weight so I bought a size down. It seems too small for 2X, while the older 3X heavy cotton now dangles from me. Also, the new thinner material wasn't as comfortable and cheap.

Pros
  • fingers crossed
