Great backpack, fits my 14 inch laptop (but very comfortably) and lots of other stuff. I love the inner mesh compartments in the front pocket. Looks great. However, if you're someone who often crosses their arms across their chest (like I usually do), I'd skip this. The ends of the straps where they meet the adjustable plastic piece are extremely stiff and will awkwardly dig into your arms when crossing them. I don't foresee them softening either, it's just the way they are arranged.

I bought this for my university because the number of things I need on a daily basis is less than when I was in high school. I usually have 2 textbooks, a regular book, my 15.5" laptop in my main bag (everything fits with extra space). The small compartment has several dividers for consumables such as pens and pencils. I like my color (navy turquoise/green), I like the quality of the backpack and how it looks in general, but there is only one problem that prevents me from giving a perfect rating : there is : It has no indentation at the bottom. If you have a laptop in this bag and do anything other than place this backpack on a hard surface with the touch of a feather, you will hear and feel a cold hard "tap".
