Carhartt Men's Legacy Leather Brown: Uncompromising Durability and Timeless Style Review

The belt looks aesthetically pleasing when first purchased, but after a few weeks of wearing quality issues appear, after just a few months of use it's already falling apart. My buddy said the quality of Carhartt has gone downhill lately, I dismissed that as maybe just a bad product but this belt along with a few other items I bought from the fleet made me see the decay, which he achieved in excellent company. It's sad because I used to swear at Carhartt, but I can't anymore.

This belt has withstood 5.5 years of almost daily use. I don't take good care of my clothes, especially belts. And this thing took a lot longer than I expected. Eventually the buckle came loose from the belt after pulling too hard. There was a moment of silence before I ordered another. There are some stretches, some if you want, but nothing significant. That's a good belt. He kept my pants and buttocks closed long enough for him to rest now.

The buckle is held in place by two buttons. When removing the label/tag one of the latches just popped out. Note that it didn't open, but the part that was supposed to stay in place (clamped) detached immediately. Unfortunately, there is no way to fix this and not put on a belt. Either way - poorly done, the button had to be ruffled *without* the label fabric in place. We return and look for another version of the belt.
