I turned them into mini lights for Halloween decorations - and dammit, they're BRIGHT! However, they get hot if left on all the time, allowing them to melt the plastic stuck to them. The color of the light is bluish white and I would like a warm white like regular incandescent bulbs. So they're cheap, very bright (almost too bright for my purposes) and hot - but definitely worth 4 out of 5 stars.

These lights are BRIGHT! I've been using them on my bike as a turn signal alert (like the ones on your dash) since I removed the clunky dash on my bike. The wires are very small so you will need to solder the connections. Connecting a 10,000 ohm resistor in series will dim the light, which is fine for my application as they are intentionally shining in my face. Delivery is also very fast. I only wish they would sell them individually or in smaller packs. Only one light was needed.

I was going to use these as parking lights on a motorcycle but they are too bright for that. Instead I installed them on saddlebags where they only light up as a brake light and are amazing there . You don't see them at all until they light up, at which point you can't ignore them. Great for the price. A high/low intensity option would be great. The only quibble is that the nuts provided were so tight they didn't fit well in the threads and certainly didn't fit, and washers were missing…
