Directions could be clearer

I ordered these beds for my sons. They look really good, the instructions weren't as clear as they should have been so I had to take them apart twice to go back to the step I missed. Even after assembly, the bed sags a bit in the middle, but I don't notice this anymore after putting the mattress on. But otherwise so far so good.

Be careful when buying - the pieces are cut incorrectly.

I originally wanted to return this item because I found out our crib had been remade, but the picture was so cute that we decided to build it and cancel the return request. But we're sitting here trying to build it and it's broken. It was poorly made and incorrectly cut making it impossible to assemble. It's very frustrating and I'm going back now.

Overall good bed - baby and toddler beds

Overall like the bed; The build was difficult in that you had to balance some things to get them together. So it wasn't a lack of strength, tools or intelligence, it was just difficult to balance all the planks of wood to put them together for one person. Also, one of the pin holes didn't align properly, so I had to get creative to get the screw to work. Luckily it was only for one of the rails so it didn't really matter.

  • Pleasant to use

Similar styles for over $200 in department stores

We were moving from house to house and instead of buying new furniture we decided to wait until our new house closed to buy new furniture for our little ones . So in the meantime we bought one of these and it worked great as an intermediate bed from her crib. It's low to the ground, durable for the price, and has protective side rails for added security. I was worried it would be very short but our 3 year old who is quite tall can still stretch a few inches. Probably not a bed they can use for…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Sad packaging

Good quality bed, one or two extra tools required for assembly

We bought this bed for our 3 year old daughter. The quality and color were amazing. I was able to assemble it myself, but I needed a hammer and a piece of wood (so as not to damage the bed/paint) to attach all the slats. However, because they fit so closely together, this is a very solid bed. We are very happy with it. ** If this is your first piece of furniture you're assembling, you'll need two people to complete the assembly, and even then you may need to pray or be silent for a while before

Pros
  • Don't waste your time
Cons
  • Some bugs

Couple working in the nursery

I bought this bed and another one right away from the Target website. After buying one from Target, I bought this one from Amazon because I could get free shipping. Note that I haven't opened this one yet because I'm the kind of person who needs to buy a bed before buying a mattress that I can't afford yet. Although I expect the same. Very good bed after assembly. It's a PAIN to put together though, so I already know what to expect. In any case, make sure the kids are in bed before attempting…

Pros
  • That's great

Cute little crib - flashy but tricky to put together

We were looking for a cute, inexpensive crib for our 2 year old. After doing a little research, we came across this cute and inexpensive Carter crib, which turned out to be the perfect bed for the perfect little girl. The only downside is that it is difficult to assemble. The instructions are too simple so I had to assemble the bed parts a couple of times because the labels were difficult to understand. In addition, the bed itself is very durable and perfect for our little girls' room. Low to…
