Carters Toddler Favorite Rainslicker Dinosaur Outdoor Recreation for Outdoor Clothing Review

My 2 year old son has started to love dinosaurs and loves to play outside in the rain and in puddles. He loves to! The jacket itself is very well made. It's a bit bigger than I thought it would be, but that just means it can grow into it and use it longer!

Inaccurate description. The label on this jacket clearly states that it is windproof and water repellent. Revain's description says it is a cloak; Raincoats are waterproof. I bought this coat as a raincoat and am disappointed that the description online misled me when I was purchasing it.

I love this jacket as much as my little one! Seems to work well even in the rain. Only used with umbrellas so I can't comment on its repellent and waterproof properties. But with an umbrella or short rides in and out of the car my little one stays dry and he loves dinosaurs! My recent 2 year old wears mostly 2Ts and hoodies, got a 3T to give him room to grow and I'm very happy with it. He can wear it now without any problems and hopefully also in the next rainy season.

Great jacket! Live looks the same as in the photo. Excellent quality, like all Carter clothes. Only thing is it's a bit big (like all Carter baby clothes especially their coats) so I had to order a 3T for my 4 year old (height 38 and weight 32lbs). Even then the sleeves are still a bit long but we can roll them up and it will fit him next year too! This was the perfect jacket for rainy/moderately cold days and I think it will be great when it gets colder.

Very disappointed with product change. I have previously ordered this coat for my boys and they loved it. So much so that when my eldest child lost his I ordered another for him. It arrived quickly and was in perfect condition. However, I immediately noticed that the fleece lining of the first two jackets had been replaced with a thin jersey. This jacket is very light and will not keep your child warm or dry. Poor selection of new material.

After other reviews saying this jacket was too big I ordered a size 4 thinking it would be too big for my son but it would allow room for growth so no big deal. As soon as he arrived I asked him to try on the jacket which I felt didn't fit as well as I expected. Size 4 barely reaches the wrist and sits directly on the pants. Overall I'm impressed with the jacket, just don't understand why people say it's big when I find it fits as you'd expect from a size 4. Will be ordering this jacket again…

I was so excited when this raincoat arrived. It's so cute, the dinosaur pattern is amazing. It is durable and well made. It has a nice jersey lining, but unfortunately this jacket is only water repellent. It's advertised as waterproof on Revain, but the label clearly says it's waterproof, not waterproof. This is a good windbreaker. Not what I was looking for for a hot, muggy summer in New Orleans with a young boy who wants to play in the rain. I'll be back. Size wise I bought a 2T for my 19…
