I got a new laptop and wanted to protect as many parts of it as possible. So when I saw this trackpad screen protector, I was ready. You get two such protections. It includes a damp cloth to clean the lining, basically a sticker to remove dust before placing the product on the trackpad, tabs with stickers that say "guides" but no instructions on what to do with them, and a square piece of plastic for smoothing out bubbles. Will do. I love that it comes with 2. Easy to install and almost no bubbles. It has a glossy finish and I'm not sure what to think of that, but it doesn't compromise the touchpad in terms of sensitivity or use, so there's no issue here. I only have 2 small complaints1. This is a nice little protector that works great for the price. Also very easy to use. There were blisters at first, but most have gone. That doesn't really bother me though, as I hardly notice them and the cover is doing a great job so far. Easily wipe away fingerprints and dust. It doesn't detract from my trackpad's portability either, and despite what others have said, I don't find the glossy texture odd or off-putting. We all know that keyboard keys get dull, but when it comes to laptops, we forget about the touchpad and palm rest. That's why I bought the Trackpad Protector. Easy to install, you just need to make sure you place close enough to the corners so there are no torn edges. It took me a few tries to install as it was my first purchase. It comes with an alcohol-based cleaner, placement stickers, and a piece of plastic to help with air bubbles. Turning it on generally doesn't affect sensitivity at all.

I received my package just a few hours ago and I couldn't wait to wear this protector. I have a 2017 15" MBP and the trackpad protector fits perfectly. No need to trim the edges or anything. My only advice is to be very careful and precise when applying the protector to the trackpad and not leave any lint.
