Casio 18Mm Black Resin 10194983 Review

The packaging clearly stated that the item was for a watch that requires a 18mm strap. That's exactly what I ordered. As you can see the pins are exposed as there was a 15mm strap in the 18mm packaging. I did not use the buckle portion of the pair as the original was fine and the correct size at 18mm. Also, there were no rivets. The original pin was unusable when it was eventually removed.

When the strap on my 10 year old Casio broke, I probably could have just bought a new one for a few dollars more than the price of that new strap, but the watch worked great after so many years, so just throwing it away seems like a waste of time. Bandwidth isn't that common these days, but I was finally able to find this one. Very happy with the new strap and now the watch is back on my wrist.

it fit and worked great for 2 years, then the retaining strap for storing the excess length ripped again. This is the same problem I had with the previous group. The band itself is fine, but there is no way to replace this small band without changing the band. I think it is a material or construction defect. Well it's cheap. but it takes patience and time to replace it by yourself.

As previously mentioned, this bracelet does not come with replacement pins. I was able to use my old pins, which worked great. I've tried various tools to remove the pins and have found that using a small pocket knife blade along with a small pair of needle nose pliers is best. It took a bit of fiddling and patience but after a while I was able to remove and replace the straps and the new strap works fine but it's too long but it's easy to cut to the right length with a pair of sharp scissors.
