This is my second G-Shock and I love the fabric strap on it and the light blue backlit background. But what I don't like is the useless little dial and counter on this one. All it does is a 10 second countdown and I see no point in it. They should have just dealt with that and made the date and time fields bigger and easier to read.

I'm not a fan of watches. I just want something on my wrist that will tell me what time it is. I actually prefer the canvas strap because I found the plastic straps irritated my wrist and the metal straps kept my hand on that water the entire time. Small display for time. If you could get rid of the circle and rectangle representing the redundant seconds count, the display could be larger. The light doesn't stay on long enough. And the alarm options are bad. Options: daily, on a specific date or monthly. Timex has the right alarm options: daily, weekdays and weekends. I'll have to see if I can get it back without the watch case it came with.
