Lots to do!: Scratching Posts & Apartments

Our cat loves this tree and although he plays in it I would say he sleeps on it more. The upper tunnel is now his favorite sleeping place. It's in good stature for him to show off his jumping skills that keep him off the shelves. It weighs enough not to tip over if he jumps on it, which is a good thing too! He also uses it to scratch and it doesn't pill like some, but the carpet falls off after a month - see picture. It's hanging there and I hope he starts using some of the other posts instead.

Sturdy construction, cats love it, aesthetics are great.

Bought a month ago for 2 cats. This is a great building tree. Extremely easy to assemble and the parts are solidly made. Refresh yourself in the nightmarish world of ugly carpets of rickety scratching posts. The cats accepted it immediately without coaxing, and the aesthetics aren't distracting (dare I say attractive and interesting?). The only inconvenience are the sticky pads that attach the lining to the top shelf - not as sticky as they should be and I've replaced them with some from Homeโ€ฆ

FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY! + UPDATE

I HAVE STARTED THE BANDAGE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS TO START FROM THE TOP BUT I AM UNCOMFORTABLE BECAUSE I HAVE LOW STRENGTH. IN THE END I TRIED TO MOUNT IT FROM BOTTOM UP BUT IT DON'T WORK! SEPARATELY, STARTING FROM THE TOP, FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS BUT THEN SUMMARYING EVERYTHING, I UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE THE TOP WITH THE OCUST WITH A HOLE IN IT, IS NOT IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION๐Ÿ˜ซ I HAVE NO PATIENCE TO TAKE IT AGAIN. SO JUST REMEMBER HOW THE HOLE POINTS TO THE BOTTOM JETS. ***UPDATE, I FORGOT TO

Do they do it with catnip?

I have two cats. One is a very, very outgoing cat and the other is a mostly physical version of being afraid if it had a tail. He never leaves our dining room chair. We call it a "safe place" where it spends more than 15 hours a day avoiding all contact. That is, until this scratching post arrived! Good gracious! He's like a new cat. He loves to play in it and his favorite area is the taco bowl on the top level. He's completely abandoned his chair to nap in tacos, which is great for us becauseโ€ฆ
