When I saw that this was a serum with retinol, I expected that retinol would be one of the main ingredients. It is not. Instead, it hides deep in the middle of the chemical ingredient list. The fact that I can't find the retinol percentage for this product probably means it's not enough to warrant such a measurement, which in turn means it's probably not effective for antiaging and brightening. I'm in my 60's with combination/acne-prone/large pores/hyperpigmented skin. What's great is that I'm a bit oily as the wrinkles aren't visible. I wish the active ingredients were cleaner and higher on the ingredient list, but this is the least irritating retinol I've ever used and feels good and is free of all of those too annoying substances odors. I suspect it's not as "strong" as other retinols, but it's great if you have sensitive/dry skin like mine.

This product has reduced the visibility of my acne scars a bit. Surprisingly my acne has completely disappeared since I started using it. Adding this product at night is the only change I've made to my routine. My face no longer feels dry during the day. Overall, this product has helped balance my skin much better than I expected. Dry skin with moderate/severe acne in adults. Other spa products include Cerave SA Wash and Cerave Moisturizing Lotion as recommended by my dermatologist.

Love it. It's not heavy, but my skin still feels hydrated. I will use it as a day cream. I also have scars on my face and they are disappearing. You can really feel how it works.
