    Great for vintage sound!

    I have several old receivers from the 70's (Pioneer, Kenwood, Marantz, Onkyo) and they work great. The set screw is quite long and using good quality 14 gauge wire they were easy to assemble. They fit into the receiver's speaker outputs and speaker inputs and fit snugly into the grooves machined on the pins. The rubber boot closes and insulates well and prevents pinching.     Excellent connectors for spring terminals.

    These banana plugs are very well suited for spring clamp speaker connections. My receiver and speaker setup is a mix of 5-pin clamps and spring clamps. I used banana terminals (amzn.com/B075JRBBKT) for the 5-way speaker and these banana pins for the spring terminals. They provide a secure connection to the speaker wire and will not fall out. They make installation/removal a breeze and my future self will be happy when I get new furniture and have to unplug everything to reinstall it. The rubber

    Successfully installed with 12 gauge wire, works and looks great! Excellent value for money and quality.
