🔴 Cetis Scitec 2554E Ruby Review

Please note that the wall mount is not included. I sent my first one back thinking it was damaged but when I got the second I realized I had to buy an extra piece to be able to hang it on the wall and connect the phone cord. Luckily, the missing part is cheap and doesn't cost much.

I bought this for the color and simplicity of a POTS phone and here are a few observations. The body and barrel are painted fire engine red, which is what I expected, but the cord looks more like red tomato soup. I'll learn to ignore the cable. As expected from a modern POTS phone, the network (inside) is brand new. The volume of the bell (mechanical bell) cannot be changed, I will probably just turn it off.

Includes Cable, Description says no cable is included. It's confusing because if they meant the wire from the phone to the wall then it's obvious because it's not set up that way. The phone sits oddly in the cradle, as if it was designed for a different phone model. bell type bell; It's not exactly the iconic sound of an old phone, though. It's loud, time will tell if I can live with that volume because I can't help it. It seems built to take abuse. All in all it is what it is, has the looks…
