It worked the way it was supposed to work.

I bought this for a 25 year old David Clarke headset to be used with a ham radio transceiver. They worked great. The transceiver is monophonic, as is the headphone jack. I have sound in both ears and it was clear and at the right volume. If you have a similar situation, then I recommend.

Pros
  • Cables and Connections
Cons
  • Negative Impression

Major design flaw

The 1/4" socket doesn't hold the plug very well. The connector is 1/8" so I have to go from that to a standard 1/4" "guitar cable go. The piezo pickup has a firm grip on the 1/8" plug, but any movement of the plug end immediately pops out. Most quality guitar cables are pretty strong, so this is a guaranteed disaster. If I'm going to use it live I'll have to use black tape to tie the 1/4" joint securely together before venturing out on stage.

Pros
  • Accessories and supplies
Cons
  • Good, but not great

The perfect solution for my KNA NG-1 pickup

I have a nylon string guitar and I bought a KNA NG-1 Acoustic Bridge pickup to enjoy playing through the amp. Nothing heavy, not for concerts, street performances or church services - just for fun. The 1/8" male to 1/4" male cable that the cartridge comes with is strong and quite long BUT it has to be repeatedly removed and reinserted into the cartridge unless I would like the cord to be folded and tied somehow. on my guitar. I felt this might weaken or damage the pickup, not to mention make it

Pros
  • Stereo cable
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Worked Great

Another simple device that works great the moment you turn it on. Not many bugs and it seems very solid. Very happy with this converter. It was exactly what I was looking for.
