I bought these lights because they had a chaser setting but when I press the setting button they always go back to full rotation of all patterns. . There doesn't seem to be a way to control it so I think I have a broken one since there is a button to control the settings. It's too late, they're on wood, and while the patterns are beautiful, I wanted the chaser setting to give them a shimmery look.

They are beautiful and work very well. They filled the whole tree, which we have about 7 feet tall. It requires USB to work, which shouldn't be a problem for most people. You can even connect them to a power bank, slip them in your pocket, and then carry the lights around the club. I did not do it. I'm just saying. The description on the packaging was the best. Very funny. It was not written by a native English speaker. It is very sweet. I liked the product and would buy more.

it's very cheaply made. The wires are thin, don't hold anything. I don't think they will last very long outside, but they should be fine indoors if you are careful with them. If you unplug them and plug them back in, the light will reset and go into a very nasty flashing strobe mode. I wish they would just turn on and stay on by default and then have to press a button when you wanted to switch to flash mode.

The advertisement says "8 different flash settings". My only real complaint about these fairy lights is that I can't choose which sequence I like best. They work on a whim with different flash settings. Many of these fairy lights have a knob or knobs that allow the user to select the lighting mode (fast blink, slow blink, fade in and out, etc.). Next time I'll have to read ads, comments and user questions better. So far, after a few weeks of use, they seem to be holding up well to the weather…

I compare these lights to fairy lights - Not the same (brightness) but I got used to it quickly.
