My wife showed me this tie and said I should get it. One of the reasons we like it so much is that the colors are partly orange and blue, and I work at a university where those are the school colors. I am sure I will find it very useful at work as it is versatile enough to wear with a nice button down shirt, khakis or a smart suit. A very nice tie in my opinion. The orange, navy, and black check plaid is quite stylish and should go with many of my shirts. The downside is that it's a cheap tie. This can be seen in the low amount of silk (only 40%) and the quilting in the back seam, which pulls uncomfortably. Basically, this is an inexpensive tie that shows in small details but has a beautiful design. .

Weddings, funerals and job interviews are almost the only times my husband wears a tie as dress for regular services is standard practice at our church. That way he doesn't get many new ties and at any point his tie can make his whole outfit look dated. Take the classic checked men's chaps tie. I like this tie. The colors and patterns look very bright when paired with a nice shirt. The quality also seems to be very good and should last for quite a while.
