I bought two of these devices for my Surface Pro and was initially very happy with them. The cable is long and works great. It lasted about 7 months and both cables stopped working. One will stop charging and the other will have to wiggle or move the cord until it starts charging. Then I have to be careful not to move the cable at all or it will stop charging and I won't even know because the LED indicator that shows it's charging doesn't work either. I ordered this twice as the windows charger is too expensive. The second time the charger would not charge except in a very dangerous position. The first one just stopped working after two months. Thing is, it still charges, but if you try to use the touchpad while the charger is plugged in, the cursor jumps around randomly. It stops right after power off. Not worth the hassle, especially when I ordered it BOTH times it didn't work properly.

This charger was not advertised (it has no indicator light to show it's charging). Also, the fan turns on when plugged into my computer even when it's sleeping/not in use. I received this charger on December 16th after my charger broke. Out of the box it worked great! But he stopped working last week, so he's been working for a little over a month. When pulled out of the computer to a specific position, it will light up and charge, but it must remain in that specific position to charge. If you move it even slightly, it stops. Looks the same as the original from the factory. However, the end of the cable where the cable enters the charging end (the part that connects to the computer) fell apart on the first one I bought. This meant the computer was not receiving power. I contacted the company and they replaced it with no questions asked. The second one I got does the same thing. I just contacted the seller again to see if they would replace it again so we'll see what they say. If not I'll have to try and buy another…
