Stay Dry and Stylish with the Charles River Toddler New Englander Rain Jacket Review

The coral looks quite orange in the photo so I bought it for my son. I have "matching" orange boots. Coral is actually coral. Tons of pink in it. Doesn't go with boots at all. So disappointing.

I needed a raincoat for my child (kindergarten). She's going through a period where she wants everything to be turquoise. It was the only coat in the color she liked. That's great! Totally waterproof and looks good. I bought size 5 as she is 5 years old. It's a bit big but she's small for her age so I'd say the measurements are pretty accurate. Highly recommended.

Relying on previous reviewers I bought the Large for my 9 year old son. He was too big. I found it's great for 14-16 year olds. It almost fits me, I'm size 2-4 at 5'3". The arm length is too short for me. The raincoat is homemade, lined with burlap, not too thin and not too thick. It's a bit long. I will try ordering a small size and see if it fits better.

I'm a petite woman who usually wears a Petite 4 or Regular 2. Since it is a child size, I bought a large one. It's still quite large, but the sleeves are 1" shorter. The hood also only covers my hairline. So the rain kinda hit my face. I'm switching to XL, hopefully it fits better, but I know it does will be very baggy.It is waterproof as I tested it in the rain for a few minutes.

I forgot this raincoat was on the Christmas list. The week before Christmas my mother asked my daughter where hers was and she replied that I would get one for Christmas. I looked all over town for someone with corals and their size was evident everywhere. I turn to Revane and he won't let me down. I received the jacket in two days and the monogram in 4 days. Christmas smiles all around! The color is perfect and we have a bright sunny yellow monogram on it. Looks and fits perfect!

Great quality but wrong size chart. I would order small for my 7 year old daughter in the 50th percentile and extra small for my 5 year old daughter in the 45th percentile. I had to pay $16 for return postage and didn't want to buy the correct sizes again after that. If they fix their popup size chart that would be a great option. Now my girls wear hoodies under thinner and cheaper raincoats. I liked them because they were lined so the kids didn't have to be bothered with carrying two coats.

This is the best raincoat! It's light enough for summer and thanks to the lining it doesn't stick in the rain like some vinyl raincoats. The light mesh lining also contributes to this, so that you can wear it with a sweater underneath in mild winter weather. This is a good quality waterproof jacket that doesn't feel like leather or vinyl but is a bit more flexible and pleasant to the touch. My kids love them and I love the yellow color. The jacket is great for my 10 year old medium sized daughter. The only problem I have is that it's too long. hands fit well. Maybe. I gave 5 stars because it was beautiful and my daughter loves it because I monogrammed it but I wanted to order her a size up but they didn't have a large order for me so I figured XL would be large enough for her to grow up but when we got it it was too long. so i will try to remove her name and keep it :) it fits me a little bigger but thats ok and i usually wear
