First off, the ratchet strap is a great idea. if it works, it works fine. if it fails, it fails. I'm talking about pants around your knees in the middle of the supermarket because you've got your hands full, FAILURE. Maybe they should put a ratchet on either side just by saying it. I would like to recommend this product. Bought from different vendors, all the same.

I bought these particular belts because they looked like traditional belts. They were very well packaged in a gift box. I was initially very satisfied. However, after wearing it, I noticed some discomfort. The back of the buckle is "sharp". Not sharp like a knife edge, but sharper than the top of a pyramid. This is the best harness I have ever used. They are made of high quality leather. But the best part is the incrementally sliding locking mechanism. Holes are no longer needed. There are teeth on the back of the strap that snap into place, giving you very smooth tension increments. Amazing mechanism

Looks like an excellent quality belt. Material and workmanship are excellent. The ratchet closure system works great and stays where it is. I've had similar straps where it would pop out and not stay locked, or if it stayed locked it was difficult to push the button to release at times. But if you want to take it off, it's easy, there's no button to press, just lift the buckle and pull it out.

They could be a little wider, but they're great with dresses or slacks. For dress jeans maybe a little thicker would be better. Black is great too, but I would have liked a little more saturation in brown as it seems confused as to whether it's burgundy, beige or tan. The stylish packaging makes a great gift idea for those who have never experienced the convenience of a belt without holes. Incredibly comfortable!

Well I have to say the price for leather ratchet straps seemed too good to be true. I should have listened to my intuition and ordered something else, but given the many positive reviews I took a chance. I'm so stupid. Despite the "Real Leather" and "100% Leather" stamps, they're clearly made out of cheap, soft plastic. They return to Revane.
