I sent two of these shelves as gifts. My adult son cut his thumb badly but didn't need stitches cleaning the counter. A sharp sliver of metal protruded from the outside edge of the counter. See photo. He was able to remove the piece and smooth the edge and didn't have to return the item even though it had a dent defect. He was concerned that he would let his one-year-old inspect the frame. Be sure to inspect all items. Otherwise it looks stable.

I have a bacon recipe that contains sugar, maple syrup, pecans, and other substances that make the grill very sticky. I can just soak it in a baking sheet with soapy water overnight and it cleans up nicely. Pretty hard to clean areas just below the crossbars but overall it does a good job. I borrowed a "commercial quality" rack from a friend. It was a bit thicker and sturdier, but it worked for what I want to use it for. In addition, I can also use it as a normal cooling rack. Worth the price.

This rack is perfect for my half pans (various brands). It was easy to clean, very durable and didn't warp in a 400F oven.
