Very nice hat but it had a funny smell at first. I put it in the washing machine at a light load on the gentle cycle and it came out frayed at the bottom and unsewn. I don't put my hats in the dryer, I hang them out to dry. I think if I dried it it would become more torn and unwearable. Pretty cheaply made. I'll sew the brim and wear it as long as possible, but I won't risk buying this hat again.

The hat looks and feels good in terms of fabric fade and style. The girth of the cap is decent (it sits comfortably on the head without pinching) and it is adjustable. However, the depth of the hat is too small. I like it when the bottom of the hat rests on the cradle formed by my ear opposite my head. I really like this hat. This is a thick quality material, the edges hold their shape well and is a nice deep/rich color with just the right amount of fading. The only issue I have with the hat is that I have a large head and holding the adjustment strap is not very effective at keeping the hat taut.
