We have just received our new bedspread. I ordered it two days ago and it arrived quickly and in good condition. It has beautiful jewel tones and goes well with our new king-size bed. It captures the warm tones of our oak furniture and decorates the space beautifully. The reason I don't give it five stars is that it's a bit flimsy for what I would call a comforter. This quilt set is so beautiful. Other reviews are right when they say the picture is wrong. The colors are darker. One thing to note (which I liked better but might be an issue for others): the bed skirt is burgundy, not purple as shown in the picture. The dark lilac color is darker, more like plum. I love these colors so much. The duvet was very soft. It was pretty light and well made. I already put the burgundy skirt on the queen bed so I didn't use the skirt. The pillowcases were too small to fit my queen's pillows so I used standard size pillows and they fit perfectly. The 3 identical pillows that came with the set were lovely and the icing on the cake.
