Good product!: Activewear

My 5 year old has just started cycling and is complaining that his buttocks hurt after cycling. I ordered her a large and it fits her perfectly. Win win in my books!

Good youth shorts. the best outerwear

My seven year old's first short bike. The mat isn't too bulky, but after wearing it for ten miles, she now understands why people wear cycling shorts.

Excellent shorts, holds up to washing on a warm gentle mode

Went with XL for my 8 yrs. Both boys love them and wear them for over 3 miles on the trail every day. Short distances aren't a problem, but 20+ minutes and my youngest would grab his shorts and say the ride hurts. These are no longer available :)

Great shorts! Suitable for outerwear

Children's cycling shorts are hard to find and seem quite expensive. So I was excited to find this product that was reasonably priced and had high reviews. I decided to try it out for my 7 year old daughter and they fit perfectly and really helped. We're going to take her for an 8-15 mile walk which will make her a little uncomfortable, that was great!

GREAT! buy you! Best in Outerwear

This is AWESOME! Bought these for my 8 year old who is almost 4.5ft tall but only weighs 56lbs. Most pants/shorts that are long enough for her fall from the waist. You were perfect. She put them on and rode 24 miles back and forth on a mountain bike that same day, a total of 1,500 feet above sea level. She said it was the first day at bike camp and her butt didn't hurt. Yes, my baby is a rock star, but so are these shorts!

Cons
  • Slightly torn

Good shorts - came here to buy another pair.

I will order a third pair. My son has worn Large since he was 5 (they were large but we knew he would grow up in them). This year the Large suits him well at the age of 7. He's pretty average height. They have withstood many washes with no visible wear. The padding is perfect for a small cough - not too thick. Our son has never had any issues with discomfort and now walks about 20 miles a day on long journeys.

Great long ride cycling shorts

Got the plus size (6-8) for my 4.5 year old daughter and they are definitely a bit big but I didn't want them to outgrow them after a few months. She likes to wear them on a trail-a-bike, which I think has a slightly stiffer seat than her regular two-wheeler, and she tends to ride longer on a trail-a-bike, so maybe that's why she feels she needs more. . The cushion isn't too bulky, and while they're a bit large, she walks comfortably (without splay-waddling) with them. They appear to be well…

Suitable for 7 and 9 years old (waist 23-25 inch)

Just got L so can't comment on specs yet but have many questions about sizing hope this helps. Model L fit my skinny 9 year old daughter (23.5" waist, 15" hips) and her 7 year old brother (25" waist, 15" hips) well. Daughter said that the waist is a little loose. Seemingly perfect for a boy (which of course means he'll outgrow it in a few months, arg). Will probably buy an XL and hope it fits him and he fills it later. If your child is a little taller than mine or at risk of shrinking (I think…
