The gloves are very easy to put on and thin enough for my 4 year old son to handle snow and small objects in them. However, this means that they are not as warm and certainly not WATERPROOF. After 30 minutes of playing in the snow, the gloves got wet. My son now wears a pair of regular cloth gloves underneath these gloves for extra warmth and dryness.

Update ***We live in a snowy area. My son refuses to wear these gloves because snow gets inside. All in all these are great gloves but not for long play in the snow. I ordered the gloves before they were listed as adult sized children. These are kid sizes! They are warm and good quality for the price

So I was very excited when they came out. I thought they were a big improvement over the mittens my 7 year old wore. They look great right away and fit great, but maybe 45 minutes after the snowballs were made, they unraveled at the seams and got all wet on the glove. I'm not sure which part the company is referring to is "waterproof"? Too bad.
