Girls' Basic Cami by The Children's Place Review

This tank top fits my little/petite 6 year old perfectly. I ordered size 4 (which is her size) and they literally hang on her in all the right places. Highly recommended under a shirt. It's also a very good weight, not too heavy and not too light. Seems well done.

The bodices fit as expected according to the sizing chart and have a longer fit to avoid riding up the waist. The fabric is pleasant as a soft, warming layer under sweaters, thin tops or as protection against the "itch" of appliqués in clothing and suit fabrics.

We bought a pair to try on, my daughter is 8 she loves them, they are soft and comfortable to wear and perfect for growing up so we ended up ordering more in a size M!

I can't even give a real review because I ordered a size small for my 7 year old who usually wears a size 7/8 most of the time. She is about 52 pounds. When I opened the bag the tanks looked like they would fit a 4-5 year old kid. Didn't even try it on so I came back. I don't know how people say scale down lol

These tanks are great! I bought The Gap t shirts for my daughter when they went on sale but I needed them now and couldn't wait for them to go on sale. They are of the same or better quality! I like that the front is doubled in thickness. They keep you warm in winter. You go for greatness. My new t-shirts for my daughter.

I bought these for my teenage daughter to sleep in. She is very sensitive when wearing clothes that don't itch her. These tops are very comfortable and soft for sleeping. Adjustable straps let it grow with you.

Slightly small but stretchy enough. My daughter is skinny so it looks good on her but tight skin. If I order more, I order one size larger. I dyed them in a tie and they were good for that.

They fit my girls strangely. My girls are skinny, I wanted them to be longer under other shirts. They gape at the neck and are too wide at the armpits. I think if I was a slim size they would be too short for what I wanted.

I love CP clothes because they are tall not skinny and uncomfortable for shy teenagers. My very large size for her height (she is 5ft 3in and 120lbs! - measurements 35, 32, 36) 10 year old girl usually wears 14P in this brand but she went through a growth spurt and lost some weight so we did opted for size 16 on just in case. They're great, if a bit big. Generous sizing rules. I think they also fit a woman who wears a medium size.

Every time I buy a women's shirt from Walmart, it's either too long or too short. This is the perfect length for me. That's my review.

I really liked these jerseys for my 10 year old. I ordered an XL which was definitely too big (my mistake) but she can grow in it. I ordered the large which is listed for her age. They were a little bigger. I recommend ordering one size smaller. These are really nice shirts, very soft and comfortable.

I bought size 10-12 for my 11 year old daughter but they were too big. I was worried that size 7-8 would be too short so I went with another brand. In fact, size 10-12 fits me!

I love that they are soft and stretchy and kids never complain about wearing them. They are a great extra layer and hide the upper body perfectly under the cropped hair!

So, my daughter wears 14/16. I ordered 10/12 to be a little tight and I'm glad I didn't order 14 because it would have been huge, 10/12 is a bit baggy and wasn't. in the sense that if I ordered a smaller size

These tank tops are perfect as a base layer with certain outfits and I think they run true to size. I used to buy tank tops from The Gap but at the medium size they start adding a shelf bra which we don't need. I have a tall almost 7 year old who wears a size 7/8 and they fit great with little room to grow!

My 7 year old daughter wears a size 7 in all of her dresses (Gap 6/7, Abercrombie 7/8, Oshkosh 7) and they either fit perfectly or with little room to grow. I ordered Med (7/8) for her in this top and she swam in it. The adjustable straps were good, but the body itself was HUGE. Size smaller in this top. My daughter is 47 inches, 49 pounds and has a 23 inch chest.

Size 7 fits my daughter perfectly and she is a 7/8 and they are huge under the arms. I didn't order 5/6 BC earlier it was too little. So I think the sizing is a bit different than this brand.

Terrible quality. The straps ripped after the first wash. I expected better quality from the children's place. We always bought her clothes in stores and it was great. I think it's not the same now. Now is the final return window.

I was trying to find blouses for my 5 year old daughter that would fit her perfectly. Size 5T was too small from Target, size 6/7 from Walmart might fit a 15 year old 🙄 so I decided to order some from Walmart (Kids Place), size 7/8 medium and they fit perfectly.
