Perfect Fit: Helmets

Fits my helmet perfectly! I don't know how well this will add warmth, but it should reduce wind noise. It makes getting the helmet on and off a little tricky but I think it's great value for the money.

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Negative gift

Not for Hjc i70 helmet

I've read online reviews that the chin guard on the LC 17 and i-70 helmets are interchangeable. So I ordered this aftermarket chin curtain and it didn't fit my new hjc i70 helmet. It doesn't stick, it falls every time I move.

Pros
  • Same as everything so far
Cons
  • Some minor things

All in all a decent product

It works like a chin guard but not very well. When installed, it doesn't look very secure, but it is. The material blocks some of the wind, but not all. This makes it very difficult to use with a camel back, but you will find that shipping took longer than I was hoping with all the chin curtains.

Pros
  • A bit above
Cons
  • Annoying

Falls off in 15 minutes good for motorcycles and weight training

This is not very good. I tried it before a ride and it came loose when I took my helmet off. I figured I just have to be careful to look for it every time I take my helmet off. It helped a little to protect my chin from the cold air, but it fell off after a 15 minute ride. I didn't notice a huge difference in wind noise, but I also wear earplugs when driving.

Pros
  • quick change
Cons
  • replacement availability

Fits perfectly on my HJC CL-17

Looks great and stays on the helmet considering the outer edge of the chin bar can be tucked under the edge of the helmet rim. Use a very small plastic flathead screwdriver or toothpick to gently pry up the edge of the helmet lip, work patiently, it may be necessary to gradually rock back and forth and squeeze the chin guard to ensure you slide under the edge of the helmet edge. .

Pros
  • understandable also to the old
Cons
  • Compatibility

3 stars - always removed

So this is a regular chin guard. There's nothing extraordinary about that. Pros: Good build quality. - Attaches to a compatible HJC helmet (CL-17) - Repels wind hitting the chin area. Cons - comes off all the time I take my helmet off or put it on. and with gloves on when putting the helmet on, it's really difficult to snap into place - not much noise-cancellation. I didn't feel much of a difference in wind noise reduction, but that might just be me. I may be doing something wrong with it, but…

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • It's ok
