The only wooden part is the underside of the seat. Everything else is metal and painted black. It looks nice and simple and is easy to install.

Overall a good chair, easy to install and fairly sturdy. I tried to order more but the price went up all of a sudden, and even though this beautiful chair doesn't cost more than $70.

My wife liked it. She likes it better than what we have that has no back. I'm happy with that. The seat is made of wood so not made for comfort.

They are very cheap so expectations were not very high. Judging by the photos we thought the backs were wood but they were metal. I'm happy with the purchase, we got what we paid for and seems really solid.

Love the strength and width of the base. good seat size. Keep in mind that this is 100% metal. However, the seat convinces like wood. I wanted something permanent because the cat will sit on it and if it gets scared it will jump off and knock you over. So far no problems

This was an easy assembly for 1 person. You look great and are strong. The only downside is that the solid wood seat hasn't been contoured. So if you have a sensitive butt, you can either buy a pillow or throw it away. They were a bit big (maybe an inch or two) for my standard kitchen counter height, but I like them so much I'll keep them to myself.

This is amazing! We love her. Unfortunately, they are not very comfortable, but suitable for short trips. Assembly was very easy - attach the back of the stool to the base. Another small issue we had was that two of the stools we purchased had a dented leg on one of them. Although it's not that bad. The quality is pretty good and I like the adjustable height.

This is a handy chair in the kitchen when you take a break and need to sit down for a second or two to rest between work. The height is convenient for washing dishes and cooking behind the counter. We placed felt pads on the underside of the chair's "legs" so that we could easily slide across the hardwood floor. It feels very sturdy and has a wide enough seat for comfort and security. It turned out to be easier to put together than we initially thought.
