I wish I knew these clamps weren't made of spring steel; I would never buy them! The money clip just can't work if it's made of mild steel. Once the lips are stretched, they cannot return to their original position. This product is absolutely useless for its intended purpose.

It's definitely not stainless steel, but polished aluminum. pretty easy with just two fingers and not really heavy enough to hold money at the bottom of your pocket unless you're carrying quite a bit of cash around. They will keep the money in one place but it worries me when I buy something and it's not what it says on the listing.

I ordered two of these money clips and they are scrap. When I first tried to use them the clip was so tight I couldn't get the money in the slot. Using my thumb, I gently undid the clip about an eighth of an inch. Instead of springing back, the clip now stays open and the money falls out. Let me just say I will never work with this company again!

you get what you pay for. but I bought it based on these positive reviews but they are probably fake reviews. nice piece of metal but what do you think makes it so hard to hold on to money? I bought 2 of these for 1/10th the price of my last stainless steel money clip. They do an excellent job of storing credit cards; I found out that the magic number is four cards. If you have less, the clip will not be tight enough and the cards will slip out of the clip and into your pocket. I've also noticed that it's a little harder to keep cash in.
