The only leather, however, are thin strips on each side around the rubberized inner strap. I know this because the one I ordered just needed an extra notch to fit perfectly. I bought two of these because the first one was damaged and the belt buckle was gnawing on it. I didn't put the new hole in properly and figured the whole reason it fell apart was my fault. It turned out to be partial and I bought a new one and the same thing happened even though I put the new hole in correctly with the right tool. This belt is not designed for heavy daily use. The belt itself was. OK. it wasn't exactly "high quality" but hey, it looked ok. And while it worked perfectly, the material inside was something like styrofoam. The problem with the belt was the buttons. The three silver discs you see in the picture are the buttons to open and close the area where you attach the buckles. When I undid the belt a second time, one of the buttons fell off the belt.

Terrible. Bought to use as a display for belt buckles that I am making during art shows this holiday season. I used it once and the buttons holding the belt buckle fell apart. When it arrived it also smelled disgusting. No matter what I did, the disgusting smell wouldn't go away. I will never buy again.

This belt may be made out of "real" leather, but it's sort of a "real" mass of leather that fell apart within 2 weeks. My last belt lasted 8 years. I would have sent it back but the shipping was too big. Don't buy this, you will be very disappointed. Assaulted by the solid reviews here, makes no sense.

I wanted a WHITE belt. A cream colored belt with translucent brown leather. Whose idea was that? When I returned to the product page and scrolled through the views, there were indeed these spots proudly displayed on the second page. Let the buyer be alert. I might find some white shoe polish to finish the job they left unfinished as the return process isn't worth the hassle.
