I give neutral 3 stars. Almost returned the item as the top is NOT stainless steel but plastic/something soft = fragile/"discolorable". But it looks like there isn't any other product of equal value and I really like the idea and the glass jar. I will update the rating after use.

I love that I got rid of my ugly plastic honey bottle. It makes my counter look a lot cleaner. Honey is easy to dose. Honey leaks, I don't know exactly where, but I always find the dispenser sticky; near the handle and the surface it sits on. This means a slow escape of honey. Very disappointing.

I am a tea addict and prefer honey to sugar or agave. I don't like honey in plastic bottles so I buy jars. The problem is that I always feel like I'm making a mess when I put it in with a spoon or when the honey gets into the ridges of the hole and the lid sticks. I went with this dispenser even though it was more expensive than the other options precisely because the top was supposed to be stainless steel. Obviously I should have read the reviews further as some Other buyers have pointed out that this product has no metal except a small spring inside.The top is definitely PLASTIC and feels very flimsy.Not at all what I wanted.I am sending it back.You should the description really change astray.

The dispenser is not only functional, but also damn cute and cuts a fine figure next to our tea box! I have tried several dispensers in the past and none of them come close to the quality of this dispenser. This honey dispenser looked good and although it was a lot more expensive than I thought I gave it a try as we desperately needed a honey dispenser that didn't flow. I bought this one because it said the lid was metal. It is not. It's definitely plastic. The glass also looks cheap, cloudy and bought. I would argue that the quality of this item shouldn't cost more than $10, but $35 is definitely too much to pay for an item of this quality. Very disappointed to have to waste time returning it…

UPDATE The customer service from this company is so great, not only did they reply to my email the same day, they went above and beyond and just sent me a returned dispenser I could have gotten a stand because they don't sell them individually and my husband dropped ours on the floor and it broke.
