Mascara is wonderful; lays itself free of lumps, withstands the summer heat. I like the travel size for both travel and everyday use at home, and it doesn't dry out before I can use it. I keep the second one ready and fresh and will be ordering more when it's open.

I really liked this Clinique mascara when I bought it at the department store. I still like this purchase but when I cry or my eyes get wet it flows very easily and stings my eyes with something violent. That made me wonder if the clerk here changed the mascara.

Applying mascara to the eyelashes with a brush takes a lot of effort. I can't comment on the formula in terms of smudging, clumping etc because I just can't get much out of the brush and onto my lashes. Sounds like a problem with the brush. I have long lashes and I'm really good at applying makeup and I'm not a fan of this brush at all. Completely new; it reminds me of a nearly disappeared tube of the pink and green $3.99 Maybelline bottle. I will never buy again. I prefer the cheap Maybelline…

This brand is worth the money because it doesn't peel or flake until it's a few months old. Other brands do fine, but they always peel or clump right away. It's not very thick, but if you need more color, especially at night, just apply 2 or 3 coats. It's not waterproof, but it's easy to wash or wipe off with makeup remover wipes. They also have water resistance.

I've been looking for a hypoallergenic mascara that won't make my eyes water for a long time. Clinique has been the best so far - teary eyes but not tears streaming down my face like other brands. I've tried almost every hypoallergenic mascara available. The seller sent quickly, everything is as stated!
