Clotho Classic Turkish Peshtemal Lightweight Review

I am very happy with this romper. I tied an extra knot at the base of each tassel before washing (having read other reviews of tassels unraveling in the wash). The tassels on fuchsia and gray were slightly shorter, making these colors a little more difficult to work with. All had a starchy feel that went away after washing. I bought six peshtamel towels from three sources, all arrived within a few days. I ordered two from Bali market, one from Clotho and three more from Eshma Mardini. When opened, two felt soft from the Bali market, Mardini a little rougher and Clotho very rough. I washed them all in one wash load and dried them on high heat. Description is a bit misleading. The increased size is not true. This is a regular Turkish towel. It will probably be an inch (if so) larger than the towel I bought in Turkey. The biggest complaint is the softness. These types of Turkish towels are amazing in their absorbency and thinness, but they are usually quite soft as well. I've washed this clotho about 3 times and it's still a little rough. There are other places to buy Turkish towels that are generally better. If you've never had one…
