Description of Cloud Stitch SuperStable Embroidery Stabilizer

Fuse Cloud Cover Stitch over the back of a finished design to cover scratchy stitches on the backside of embroidery designs. White, roll of 12 inch high x 10 yards and available in BLACK in this format too. Also available in bigger rolls of 14.5 " X 25 yards in white. Made in USA. Highest standard in the industry. It is soft and sheer - ideal for baby garments, golf shirts,or tees. Anywhere to avoid a scratchy irritant to the skin!. Please note: Cloud Cover Stitch is not a stabilizer. Cloud Cover has a very unique multi directional stretch. It bonds at a moderate temperature with your fabric but will in no way adversely affect the drapability of your garment.

Very soft to the touch. I gave 4 stars because some of the covers came loose after washing. I have been using similar products for many years and this was my first time using this brand. It may have been an application error on my part, but I think I'll go back to my old brand.

Pros
  • Stabilizers
Cons
  • No instructions

Oh honestly I love this shop. I use it on the back of anything I hand sew, more like patchwork blocks or kitchen towels. It is very easy to cut and iron quickly and the roll will last a long time. I feel like it keeps my stitches from being washed too often and adds just the right stiffness for your design to stand out.

  • crafts and sewing
Cons

Some parts don't stick at all, peeled off in the washing machine

I tried this stabilizer and personally I will never buy it again. Some parts don't stick to the shirt at all no matter how many times I press them with my heat press. Since the backing pieces don't stick, I don't see them holding up in the washer and dryer. I'll test it and update my rating, but for now I wouldn't recommend it for things that need washing more than once. UPDATE: This lining came loose on the first wash of the t-shirt. A complete waste of money and now I have to spend more money

Pros
  • Sewing supplies and accessories
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
