Not for me. I thought the reviews that said they smelled like soap were crazy and bought them despite the bad reviews. I was wrong and the other reviewers were right. They smell like stinky soap and don't look like cloves at all.

I like the smell of carnations. Is always. However, as far as I remember it doesn't smell exactly like HEM Clove incense sticks in small boxes of 10 sticks. That's why I bought these in the first place - I can't find those little boxes locally anymore. The wooden sticks they are rolled on tend to be a bit thick - so if you only have one burner with small holes in it, you might want to get a different one.

Nice aroma but I wouldn't call it "clove". I was really hoping for a real spicy clove smell, like opening a jar of real whole cloves. It's not like this. When I smell an incense stick before it burns, it definitely has a floral undertone that I can't identify, but it's not very earthy or pungent. Or carnations, lol. It's a pleasant scent and I still burn it to scent my home. I will keep looking for that real clove flavor.

I love Plant Guru Clove Incense because it smells like clove; when the Plant Guru product was not available during the Covid-19 lockdown I tried this product. On the plus side, this product is well designed; it burns continuously and fills the room with fragrance. However, I personally don't like the smell as it smells like musk and not clove. If you are a fan of musk, this product could be for you. However, if you want incense that actually smells like clove, go for Plant Guru.

I already bought this incense and I really liked it. No problem with this great scent, the only problem was the postal delivery saying the package was delivered straight away. It's not, unless it means leaving a package between mailboxes on the street in the middle of a snowstorm. UPS and FEDEX leave packages at home on a covered porch.
