Very disappointed with this tool. I bought it mainly to attach a hot knife. The blade doesn't heat up at all and I waited and waited. Organza or satin ribbon could not be cut. My old one, very primitive, with edges cut and soldered so they don't crumble. The part of the tool that holds the blade gets very hot, but for some reason the blade itself doesn't.

This little iron is great for transferring vinyl onto face masks or other small items, or other items that fit into tight spaces (pockets, small bags, etc.). It gets very hot, which surprised me. The only problem is that the stand isn't very strong and the iron will melt it, meaning you'll have to remove the plastic from your iron. Need a metal stand that won't fall or melt.
