Clubman Moustache Wax Chestnut 0 50 Review

I bought this for my husband hoping to hide some gray hairs, it was very difficult to comb his thin coarse beard maybe, if it were some cream and better comb . On the other hand, it's amazing for my thin eyebrows! it makes them fuller without looking fake like I colored them with pencil or powder. So for me it's great, but not for him. I wish the tube was plastic instead of metal, it has a small hole on the side and it's starting to dry out.

Good for temporarily fading gray hair. If you're mostly gray like me, I recommend using Just for Men's Beard Dye sparingly and then touching up with this wax. It's a very hard wax that I like. I use a hair dryer to heat the dosing tube a bit. Small things have a big impact. Massage in lightly. Then I use the blow dryer to heat the facial hair, blending and shaping it more thoroughly. The product is not good. I have a large handlebar mustache and have used several waxes. The original Pinaud (white/transparent) was ok but this one (brown) is terrible. A more accurate description would be "a tube of brown hair dye". It looks more like paint than wax. Use Fisticuffs or Firehouse Waxes and you won't be disappointed like I was.

SUMMARY: Great wax, great smell, strong hold, slightly discolored my mustache for more contrast with my skin. (Light skin, messy blonde hair). PROS: Citrus flavor (may be a minus for some). Strong Hold: Colors whiskers a light dark brown. (Chestnut doesn't really describe this color well.) A little goes a long way.
