This is a very nice linen tablecloth. It's not thick so if you want something to protect your desk from the heat you'll need to put a heater or desk stand underneath it, which I did. I also put a plastic cap on to protect it from stains. I bought this tablecloth because of the look and I love it. After unpacking, there weren't too many fold lines, so I just put it on the photo table. I washed it cold/gentle and dried it on a very low temperature and it turned out beautifully. I bought this tablecloth in "Linen", a very light colour. I think I was expecting it to have a little more colour/warm tone but I think it's just the warmth and wood in the photos that makes it stand out. Still, I like the color. The material is very soft, quite thin and has a light hole pattern and even woven jersey. I'd say it seems decorative rather than protective (which suits my needs). I wish I had a few more inches on each side for my table, but that's not the product's fault.
