thinks it's pretty cool in it

My son always or only fishes in the sun. He likes this shirt, he thinks he's pretty cool in it!. He is 10 and I ordered XL. He's about 90 pounds. and about 5 feet tall and XL is too big. He's had enough for a few years. If I could go back I would order a large one.

Pros
  • Dries quickly
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

The quality is excellent. The size they listed on Columbia.

This is my third time ordering this shirt. The quality is excellent. The dimensions given on the Columbia website are completely wrong! All shirts run small. Be sure to triple the size as the size chart recommends. Believe me. This saves you time and nerves!

Pros
  • Omni-Shade UPF 30 provides maximum protection for long hours in the sun
Cons
  • Updates

LOVE! My Baby Looks Great

LOVE! My child looks good, is cooler than any other shirt in any weather, wears comfortably and provides excellent protection from the sun and insects. We have since bought 2 more. Great shirts for every day and travel! It fits true to size, but if your kids are on the doorstep/not sure how to order, get a larger one. I think 12-14 would be small for a 14 year old.

  • Water Resistant

Grand Prize Family Favorite Shirt

I bought three of these shirts in different colors and sizes for my grandkids to go kayaking. They were all of excellent quality and the right size. However, I wouldn't buy them unless they were being sold at half price. I want kids to get into the habit of having these shirts ready for outdoor activities because they're easy to put on, protect their skin, and add some warmth when the temperature drops. All of the adults in my family wear Columbia shirts for protection from the sun and for the…

Nice shirt but definitely a size up

Bought the small size for an 8 year old boy as a birthday present and also a medium size in case it doesn't fit. The little one was too small. It would be better for a 4 or 5 year old child. The middle ones just fit him, but I make him big. I would recommend a medium for a 5 or 6 year old boy or a little 7 year old. My skinny 7 year old (almost 8 year old) boy was able to put the medium on and had some space, but I can't imagine it still fits him 6 months later. I would recommend the size Small

Great oversized sun protection shirt for kids

DO NOT pay $35-50+ for this shirt! If you're flexible with the color, you can look up your size and find the same shirt for a lot less. The price changes randomly, so let us know if the price drops! High Quality And Holds Up Well After Hard Outdoor Play In Mud, Mud, Sun And Beach. I knew this shirt was going to be large as the smallest size was xxs (also listed as 2t) but I would say it's oversized and last year it was quite big for a kid. In fact, he was wearing clothes that were 24 months…
