When I first opened the box, the smell of synthetic rubber hit me. It smelled like the back room of a tire shop. The description says "leather". However, the only "skin” in this product is a thin layer of lining. The rest of the belt is made of polyurethane and has a matching smell. I am shocked that Columbia will sell this product.

My husband has been using this belt for less than two months and the leather has torn near the prong holes. It can be seen that the leather is of very poor quality. I am very disappointed in this belt for the price.

The photo of this product is true. Looks great, color is as advertised, fits well. It looks really great too! Satisfied.

This will be a present for my son as he said he needed a new belt. Columbia is a very good brand and my husband has a lot of their shirts. I was surprised at the cost of this belt as Columbia products tend to be quite expensive. Hope my son likes it. This is a really nice belt.

The belt came quickly, beautiful. It's also inexpensive. However, this isn't all premium leather, it's some sort of leather laminate, so I have to wonder how long-lasting it's going to be. Only time will tell, but the buyer needs to be aware that this isn't a solid strip of premium leather like some of the competition. It's made by Columbia and I've always had good experiences with Columbia so I'm optimistic this belt will last and look good.

I don't wear this belt often, but the "leather" is cracked and torn, revealing the light-colored material the belt is made of. Don't waste money.

I bought Columbia with confidence, but this completely changed the situation! A junk product made from cheap materials with an established name that used to stand for quality.

Bought this belt twice. The first one pleased me for several years of wearing. Over time it looked shabby so it had to be replaced. Since I was happy with it, I "bought it again" from Revain. The second belt is significantly lighter and thinner. After only 6 months it started to wear out badly and now 9 months later it is in worse shape than the one I bought a few years ago. This was my last purchase of a Columbia product. I pay more for a good (or equal) quality product, but I feel cheated…

This is my second product from this product. It was the first in 7 years! Night quality, but of course it's not exactly the same as the first. They don't label them like they used to.

The description says '100% different fibres' and the belt says 'Genuine leather lining. Faux leather upper. My fault is that I didn't read the description carefully. but I thought I'd order a leather belt. I watched so much I think I was a little overwhelmed. Anyway it looks good and it could be good but not what I expected. I'll post an update later if my opinion goes up or down, but for now I'm a bit disappointed.
