🧥 Columbia Women's X Small Lay Down Jacket - Essential Winter Clothing Review

I'm from Texas (not a cold person) and I LOVE this coat! I went hiking in the Tetons of Wyoming for 1 week (wet, snow, rain, sometimes dry) and this coat kept me warm and dry. I'm a short person (5ft 3in, weight 118lbs) and bought a medium size. I'm glad I had a bit more room when I layered the coat on 2-3 more layers. This coat will be great when our family takes another trip to Alaska or Colorado.

Warm ASF, it has a great mesh pocket inside perfect for my phone or keys. even better, it has a zip pocket on the other side that also fits my phone perfectly. I like this jacket best. I like that the sleeves are long enough for me - a lot of women's clothing doesn't have long enough sleeves. I like that the fur trim and the hood are removable. Heat is wonderful, especially because of its (lack of) volume and weight. The only thing that bothered me were the armpits. Very happy with this coat. I ordered a medium size based on a large Columbia Glam-Her down coat I bought 2 years ago which is now too big. I am very upset that this is a potential fake or made for a factory coat. I ordered the XL in Groovy Pink. One star for the color as pictured except the piping around the outside pockets is a faint red which isn't pretty. I already have this coat in white and black sea salt.
