Great winter coat! for jackets

Lightweight, extremely warm and the elasticated cuffs keep the snow out. I love this style for my tall 3 year old and it's a better price than many other winter jackets.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons

Cute jacket but short in the body

Cute jacket my little one loves BUT the body is shorter than expected. Enough to know that next year we won't be able to reuse the jacket if it gets a little bigger and of course it can so this is a one season jacket unless you have a small baby with long sleeves . The material in the sleeves is great for keeping the gloves in place.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Not the best

This jacket is perfect for my daughter

This jacket is perfect for my daughter. I bought her xs, she is 6 years old, height and weight 50% more. She wears it almost every day and it keeps her warm on the cold mornings we live in. It is light and lasts for the last two months. It won't keep a baby warm in sub-zero temperatures but works great in temperatures above 30's and 40's and also works well in the rain.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Modern

Wanted to love this jacket for my 10 year old

Wanted to love this jacket for my 10 year old. The price was great so I actually ordered her for next winter to replace this year's Columbia which she will soon outgrow. Mind you my 10 year old is always cold so she doesn't mind feeling heavier. This jacket is EXTREMELY light and even in omni heat I can't imagine it will keep you warm in our 15 degree winters. And so it went back to the seller.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Volume

Difficult zipper (at first) but otherwise great jacket

My 6 year old (tall, size 6 above) loves this jacket and I think we can wear it for a couple of seasons. It seems to work well in all winter conditions (cold to moderate winter days, skiing) with just a long sleeve shirt or t-shirt underneath and my kid finds the pockets really warm and cosy. I was apprehensive about the jacket when we first got it as it is feather light and looks like it could tear easily, but it has withstood a lot of activity (including the occasional concrete scrape) over…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Very warm non bulky coat ideal for use in a car seat

Review 2014: Last winter during the polar vortex I had an OmniHeat coat and it held me up absolutely perfectly so this year I bought one of these Omniheat Coats for my 3 year old daughter. The stitching and quality is absolutely perfect, just what I've come to expect from Columbia. We call this Frozen Elsa Blue coat (if you have a daughter, you probably know what I mean). An added bonus is that it fits securely in your car seat belt as this coat is super warm and not bulky. UPDATED REVIEW 2015:

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Compatibility
