Great little jacket. Our goal.

Excellent jacket. This jacket is ideal for autumn and winter. With a sweater underneath it's warm enough for warmer snowy days and great under a coat on really cold days. We have two colors for my little guy so we can wash one while the other gets dirty. Simple, good jacket. Fits as expected. Currently perfect for my weight of 29 pounds, 37 inches, 2.75 years old. You may need to grow up before the end of winter, growth spurts are unrealistic. But for the price, these jackets can't be beat.

The size is small but otherwise a good quality product Columbia

Quality as expected from Columbia. The only problem was with the size. Bought "Toddler Boys: 4T" for my 4 year old son who is medium height for his age. He was too small and has been reverted to Little Boys: XX-Small (4/5) which fits him much better and has room to grow. The item had free returns so it was a bit of a hassle going back to a small and then having to wait longer before it started wearing a better size, but overall it's not a big deal, especially considering the price.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • The list will be long.

I would buy this jacket one size up to get the most out of it

I bought this jacket for my son mainly to wear as a thin winter coat. I didn't want him to be in a car seat in something bulky. I've always loved Columbia jackets and this one is no exception. The jacket looks like the picture, inside there is a sewn-in field to write the child's name. My son wears a 2T and I bought a 3T to fit all winter - the 3T is the perfect size and the sleeves were a bit longer which I expected. I handcuffed them once and they stayed handcuffed and not bulky. I would…

We love these jackets!

We buy one of these for our son every year as he keeps growing. This is the perfect jacket to transition from fall to winter. They held up well (son #2 wears old jacket) after washing and lots of socks. Our almost 4 year old is smaller (lower end of the weight range/medium height) and 4T fits him (a bit loose in the upper body but otherwise fine). Our almost 2 year old is of average height and weight and the 18-24 month size is snug but still fits (2T would probably be better for him). (Another

Great for car seats.

Like. It's super cute and big thickness. We bought it for our son to put on a coat when he gets in the car seat in the winter. This allows seat belts to be securely tightened where a large winter coat would not allow. This makes it a lot easier to run errands when you've only been outside for a minute but need a jacket. Of course we put a heavier coat on him when we're going to be out and about in Idaho in the winter. This will be the perfect fall/spring jacket. My 13 month old just started 2T…

Warm fleece coat perfect for kids in car seats

There has been talk of avoiding winter down jackets in car seats lately as they may require the child's seat belts to be loosened, increasing the risk of car damage. Seat malfunction in an accident. I love that this coat is thin enough for my son to wear safely in the car during the winter months and still stay warm. I can strap him in tight and protect him in the car during the winter months. I wouldn't send him out to play in the snow with this coat on, especially in wet snow without a…

Perfectly warm and safe car seat!

This is my 5th purchase of this jacket! I've been in for my son since he was 12 months old. He's 4 years old now and still the perfect layered jacket. At the age of 18 months, he was able to close it himself because the zipper was well made and ran smoothly. It's thick and well made. As a mom, I love that it stays warm in Indiana winters (that cold breeze!) while also being SAFE from squeezing the car seat. I don't have to take off layers of baggy clothing for his safety buckles when he's…

Perfect fit for my 2 year old!

I've been buying my son these Columbia fleeces since he was a size 3-6M and all sizes from there. It has a long body but short arms. They always fit well and if the sleeves are too long I just roll them up. Even though it's big, it doesn't look too messy. They have a nice tailored/structured look. He is currently 2 (27 months old), weighs 30 pounds and wears 3T in most brands including Carter's & Old Navy. The 3T is perfect for him as he will have plenty of room to grow and layer over the…
