Trusted Brand: Gloves & Mittens

I saw these at a great price and I'm glad I bought a pair. They are well done. The gloves are thick for snow and wet weather and a bit stiff due to the layers so we'll have to see how flexible they get, but they're definitely warm.

Pros
  • Great Design
Cons
  • Out Of Style

Nothing for really cold weather

We live in northwest Wisconsin where winter temperatures are typically above 15 degrees below zero. These gloves are too tight on the fingers, hinder finger movement, provide poor insulation, and are generally no better than cheaper gloves.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Useless features

Warm, comfortable and durable.

Given as a gift to my teenager to prepare for several upcoming snow rides. I carried her on a sled yesterday (I was pulling my hands to steer the whole time). He said it kept his hands warm and dry for 4 hours of sledding and no tears or tears from the abuse he inflicted on them. :)

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Very disappointed not for cold weather

As they were designed for the coldest weather I put them on on a snowmobile ride today at -3F and they kept me warm for about 5 minutes. After that, they rescued my old, worn-out gloves from a foreign brand, which could end up with very painful frostbite on my fingers.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Some difficulty

small fit but good gloves.

But this is for my 23 year old son. He doesn't have big hands or long fingers. It fit his fingers well, but part of the hand was a bit tight. I was afraid to increase the size because then they would be too long. However, they kept his hands warm and dry on the mountain at over 20 degrees.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Only available in white

warm and waterproof gloves

I used to have Burton gloves but they got wet all the time when I snowboarded. I just tried the glove on over the weekend and my hand was completely dry and warm. I like these gloves very much. It's worth noting that, as mentioned earlier, if your hands are on the cusp of two sizes, you should go up a slightly larger size on this glove.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • No

Not suitable for freezing temperatures

I bought them hoping they would be warm in freezing temperatures. I live in North Dakota near the Canadian border and we see temperatures like this quite often. The gloves fit well and, although tight, are comfortable. But when the temperatures get tough, they're no better than anything else. Every time we're in sub-zero temperatures, I resort to my big, chunky mittens.

Pros
  • Test for one year
Cons
  • Retrofittable
