We bought a size up for my son and still couldn't get anywhere near getting his feet in the boot. I had to go back. They looked like good boots when they fit someone.

The toes of the boots are tilted upwards, like elf shoes. This caused the seam that attaches the fabric to the hard rubber sole to bulge and dig into the top of my son's foot, even on a larger boot. He is 9 years old and found these to be one of the most uncomfortable boots he has ever worn. My husband and I were very disappointed with how odd these boots looked because the toe was so high. Very disappointing!

I always wear my daughter's Columbia boots sized so I made them for hers and when they arrived they were huge! If you have wide feet the toe box is very roomy. But even with socks it was too big everywhere. We were also disappointed that there was no soft material inside the boot. It just seemed solid, almost like a rainbow inside. waterproof because we never took them outside but judging from the first try on they didn't seem like very comfortable boots.
