The design is well thought out and I intend to buy a similar cat wedge for the opposite side of my front door, but it lacks a better shape [like my dachshund paper towel holder]. I had to sand down the ridges that are part of the casting process and fill in some gaps with epoxy and then paint to hide my work. Half the size and weight it needs to be to be called a real doorstop. Doesn't keep the door open when the wind is strong enough to close the door. But it's adorable and the paws on the door are cute - but they won't touch the door itself unless the space under the door is high enough to push them all the way up.
