THIS HAS WHAT I WANTED. I PAINTED IN MY BASEMENT AND THERE WAS AIR ON OUTSIDE. IT WAS A GREAT WORK. I LET IT WORK FOR TWO DAYS AND ALL THE PAINT SMELL WAS GONE. PREFORMS ARE EXCELLENT.

I bought 2 of these for my paint shop. Part of the reason I bought it was the price. They are quieter than I expected and work great in the paint booth itself (like just outside the doors where I paint) but not throughout the workshop. I probably wouldn't choose this size or brand again for an entire shop or home fan as it only works when the dust is right in front of it, but they're great for a makeshift little spray booth.

I bought this small fan for a project that required a lot of welding and painting. It keeps the smoke out well. It's heavy and looks very well built apart from the switch, time will tell if it holds up. It's noisy, but nothing you'd expect from a fan that moves a lot of air. A well-known discount tool chain sells the same item for a lot of money (their version is colored red). Overall I would recommend this fan for ventilation projects.

I ordered a pair of these fans. One failed the second time I flipped the switch and the other about a month later. The fault was not with the motor or fan. It was the power switch. Luckily I was able to replace the switches with a $5 part from my local auto store. Considering the price of this unit, I'm not happy with the poor quality of the power button.] If you're thinking of buying one of these, just replace the power button and if you're not happy with that, look elsewhere. .
